Surface coating
We have a specially designed cabin to prevent the contamination of the stainless steel. The blasting treatment using micro-particles of glass, in addition to an "anti-fingerprint" treatment, provides a resistance to salt spray for more than 500 hr.
Through our collaborators we can also offer special treatments according to requirements, the most prominent being:
- Salt Bath Nitriding (Sur-Sulf + Oxinit), which provides anti-seize properties, a surface hardness of 60 RWC and resistance to oxidation for 400 hr.
- Cataphoresis for carbon steel and aluminium, resistance to salt spray for 800 hr. and a thickness from 20 micron.
- Hard anodising with surface hardness of 60 RWC and resistance to salt fog for 600 hr.
- Satin finish anodising (without surface hardness) and resistance to salt fog for 600 hr.
- 30/35 micron three layer Teflon treatment when an anti-adherent finish that can resist continuous work temperatures of up to 250ºC is needed.
